2018 Restoration Project for Nine Mile Reservoir
Thick EWM in Nine Mile Reservoir
Eurasian watermilfoil has been identified as a significant invasive species within Nine Mile Reservoir. This plant and several additional aquatic nuisance plants found in Nine Mile Reservoir are known to negatively affect the beneficial uses of a water body. As such, Avista contracted Lakeland Restoration Services to conduct an aquatic herbicide treatment on Nine Mile Reservoir. Treatment was completed on September 7th, 2018.
