Flathead Lake 2018 Flowering Rush Control
Flathead Lake, Montana is the largest natural lake in the western United States. It is a popular lake for fishing, whitewater rafting, boating and other recreational activities. Lakeland Restoration Services was contracted to perform a drawdown herbicide treatment to control flowering rush on Flathead Lake.
Treatment was completed April 18th and 19th, 2018. Herbicide was applied to the shoreline using an airboat and a sprayer. No herbicide was applied to the water.
