2017 Restoration Project for Tiger Inlet
Tiger Inlet is located in Cusick, Washington about 6.6 miles from the small town of Ione, Washington. This inlet branches off of the west side of the Pend Oreille River and is approximately 1.23 miles long.
Residents in the area contracted Lakeland Restoration Services to perform an herbicide treatment to control aquatic weeds. Treatment was completed on July 10th, 2017. Tiger Slough was also treated on July 10th.
1 month after 2017 treatment. Two years ago dense masses of Eurasian watermilfoil were found throughout the inlet.
