Company Experience and Goals

 

Lakeland Restoration LLC is a North Idaho based company, focused on restoring and preserving the environmental integrity of the American Northwest. Licensed in Idaho, Montana, Washington, Oregon, and California, we aim to be at the frontlines of protecting their natural ecosystems.

Luke Huffman, owner, is in a Ph.D. Program at the University of Wisconsin, researching aquatic plants and invasive species management. He has a Master’s degree in Environmental Science from The University of Idaho and a a B.S. hybrid degree from Utah State University in Plant & Soils Science, Environmental & Climate Science, and Landscape Architecture/Environmental Planning. He worked in Hokkaido, Japan in the field of LAEP, and grew up studying aquatic ecosystems in Kentucky.

Dave Kluttz, founder, holds a B.S. in Agronomy from California State University, and was previously in business for nearly 30 years in California as Providence Horticulture, Inc. When opportunities arose in aquatic and terrestrial weed management after Dave relocated to Northern Idaho, He decided to put his vast experience to use to aid in maintaining the health of the natural ecosystem therein.

Kendall Corn, manager of operations, graduated from Eastern Washington University with a degree in Geography/Geographical Information Systems. He worked as a Geospatial Database Analyst for Apple, and provides Lakeland with data analysis as well as runs the logistical side of operations.

James Pogue, field director, has worked with Lakeland for eight years, and previously worked all over the world as a merchant marine.

Jessica Tolman is an analyst for Lakeland, and holding a degree in Mathematics and Geology from Utah State University.

Chade Gonter works in the field for Lakeland, holding a biology degree from Utah State University.
